Short girl names

Call her once and she should turn, even if the fans are on and the cousins are shouting. For these girl names, short means easy to call across a noisy room, not a lesser name. Use them when the surname is already long, or when you simply like a clean sound. Say Diya and then the family name. If it feels abrupt, it may be the pairing, not the name.
