Navnaam helps you browse baby names, see how a name lines up with a traditional syllable, and share a shortlist with family. The core tool is free and does not need an account.

Meanings, numerology notes and nakshatra fits are cultural and linguistic information. They are not medical, legal or financial advice, and they are not a guarantee about a child. Read the disclaimer before you rely on a result for a ceremony.

Do not use the site to harass anyone, to post someone else's contact details, or to submit a correction that is abusive. We may remove a vote or a suggestion that breaks those rules. The family vote is for the people you send the link to. You are responsible for who receives it.

Name spellings can repeat across languages and the same spelling can carry more than one story. If a meaning looks wrong, use the correction link when it is available, or write to support@navnaam.com.

Instant reports stay off until the birth calculations and the syllable, number and Ashtakoot tables are signed off. When a report is for sale, the list price, any launch code and the refund note are shown before you pay. One code per order. A code can be changed or withdrawn. A personal referral code gives a friend the launch price. It is not cash.
